Asphalt Repair

Potholes, alligator cracking, sunken drains, and crumbling edges. We dig out the failure, rebuild the section, and tie it back into the surrounding pavement clean.

What It Is

Asphalt Repair done right.

Most asphalt repair gets done backwards. Someone shows up, throws cold patch in the hole, and drives off. Three months later the patch is gone and the hole is bigger. We do the opposite. Find the cause first. Almost every failure has a reason the surface gave up where it did, whether it is a soft base, a drainage problem, or a load the original spec could not carry.

Our repair process saws a clean perimeter around the failed section, removes the broken material, addresses whatever is causing the failure underneath, and rebuilds with proper base and hot mix. Tie the new section back into the surrounding pavement with sealed joints and the patch lasts.

Common repairs we run: residential driveway potholes and sunken sections, commercial lot alligator cracking, edge crumbling along curbs and aprons, drain area depressions, and trench restoration after utility work.

What's Included

Every job comes
with the full picture.

Cause Investigation
We figure out why the section failed before we touch it, so the repair holds long term.
Saw Cut Perimeter
Clean cut around the failure so the patch ties in straight and bonds at every edge.
Failed Material Removal
Broken pavement and any failed base hauled out down to a stable layer.
Base Rebuild
Compacted aggregate brought back up to elevation with the proper depth.
Hot Mix Patch
Plant fresh hot mix laid in lifts and rolled to density. No cold patch shortcuts.
Joint Sealing
Edges sealed against water intrusion so the patch perimeter holds against freeze cycles.
Our Process

Four steps,
start to finish.

01
Diagnose
Inspect the failure and identify what caused it. Repair the cause along with the symptom.
02
Cut
Saw cut a clean perimeter around the failed section.
03
Rebuild
Remove failed material, repair the base, and bring elevation back to grade.
04
Pave
Hot mix patch laid in lifts, rolled tight, edges sealed against water intrusion.
